Video item and mjpeg stream from Raspberry cam

Has anyone gotten this setup to work?
I’m using the RPi-Cam-Web-Interface from which I’ve created a stream preview php containing just the stream window (which is explained in the mentioned link). I’m successful in presenting the stream through a webview item but its impossible for me through the more fitting video item. Off course I’ve also tried with the encoding option set to mjpeg.

The webview format for a video stream is not that appealing as I must define a height which isn’t always suitable depending on the choice of UI.

I would very much appreciate some help with this issue.

Hi!
No sadly I haven’t got a fix for this yet. I haven’t had time to play around with this for awhile but perhaps I will give it another go.

Perhaps the problem is that I have embedded the stream in a php-file, I guess the “video item” might be expecting a more pure mjpeg stream source.

I’ll get back to you if I’m successful in some way.
