Several years ago, I built a magic mirror (German blog) which is a physical mirror with a screen behind it (there was already a post about magic mirrors). The mirror is running the MagicMirror² software which is extendible via modules. And guess what, I’ve written a module to show the floorplan of my house with the current state of lights, window contacts, and several labels such as temperatures
