I am using vs code editor, my items, things are not open i got an error like this
Please open “*.items” file in the editor to add a new snippet. please help me how to solve , thank you.

I guess you are trying to add an item from the things explorer via context menu.
(If i am wrong it would be nice to have some further information including screenshots.)
If i am right:
You are trying to do this without opening a .items file in vscode, so vscode simply doen’t know where to generate those items for you.
To solve this you should have vscode setup with a proper network share to access your config files and then open the one you want to edit in vscode.
