Warning messages in log file after installing the latest OH3 RC1 release

After installing the latest OH 3 RC1 release today I get the following warning messages in my log file:
22:20:21.656 [WARN ] [b.core.io.rest.internal.DTOMapperImpl] - Field 'firmwareStatus' could not be eliminated: Can not set final org.openhab.core.thing.firmware.dto.FirmwareStatusDTO field org.openhab.core.io.rest.core.thing.EnrichedThingDTO.firmwareStatus to null value
There are exactly as many messages as I have things (127). The messages seem to occur whenever I open a page in the UI that has information on things (e.g. administration settings).
These messages have not been there before the update. A reboot does not solve the problem.

Known & foxed. I believe they can be ignored.
