Wattpilot car authentication

I’m running OH 5.1.3 with latest bindings.

Perfectly works with recent backport, thanks a lot for that!

However, up to now i haven’t managed to find anything about Wattpilot “authentication” :frowning:

I.e. all the time i reconnect my car, i have to visit fronius App, to authenticate my car.

I wonder whether this is due to me and my setup or rather a limitation in API / Interface?

As of now i see the below options:

  • immediate start loading the batterie after plugging in the cable
    • i.e. one doesn’t need to worry that someone else sucks power
  • authenticate via NFC chip
  • authenticate via “Fronius” Solarwatt App
  • authenticate via Openhab Fronius Wattpilot App

The last one ist the one i’m questioning.

With the charging-allowed channel you can disable charging.

I think that‘s the equivalent of clicking on the circle in the app. It can be used to pause/disable charging, but is not related to authentication.

If your wallbox is not in your garage or inside your property that‘s of course no option

Not implemented yet. If I am able to find out the command I can implement it.

At least you need access to the app to allow charging.
And if someone has access to the app, I guess that person is allowed to charge a car.
