Where are the things file stored?

Hello

i have a working openHab 4.1.2 and startet to find out about the things. A couple of things i crateted and some bridge.

No i found out in the samba share (openhabian.local/openHAB-conf/things/) configuration things is no file visible

are they stored somewhere else, too?

openHAB-conf is where you put configs that you create by editing text files (.items, .things, .rules, etc.).

Everything you do through the API (e.g. through the UI) gets saved as JSON to openhab-userdata/jsondb. Things in particular are in openhab-userdata/jsondb/org.openhab.core.thing.Thing.json.

Do not edit this file while openHAB is running.
