Integrates WundaSmart, Bero and AEA Energy heating systems with openHAB.
All three systems, WundaSmart, Bero and AEA are based on the same hardware, firmware and app with minor variations.
Note that this is currently being developed against a WundaSmart HubSwitch, radiator heads and thermostats ONLY. Feedback for underfloor heating connection boxes, relays, Bero and AEA systems is welcome though!
Thanks for this Mike! Brand new openHAB user here, new to Wunda too.
Will look at getting the jar from your release there and getting this going in my house.
I’m a developer by trade but not in Java, this might be a fun excuse to get enough of a java environment locally to make an up to date .jar with your most recent changes!
The development release has been updated to include initial support for features included in the latest HubSmart firmware (which you’ll receive automatically from Wunda if you let your HubSmart talk to the Internet).
The only new feature officially released and in the Wunda app so far are the Hub-global room temperature restrictions (umin and umax).
More interesting are ext_temp and wc_* which I interpret as being for weather compensation. That’s not usable yet and ext_temp isn’t writeable. Worryingly there are also some new sub_* parameters which seem to imply some sort of subscription may be required. I really hope they don’t do that. The only reason I went with WundaSmart is because they didn’t need an Internet connection and subscriptions. (I actually had a Tado in my hands and sent it back because of that once I’d read the docs )
