Thank you for this writeup, yesterday I managed to access my first sensor 
HypriotOS/armv7: pirate@sunflower in ~/miflora on master*
$ python3 demo.py

Now all I have to do is to wire everything into openHAB and let my plants send tweets to me and switch the Hue lights to disco mode
