Zigbee Smartthings multipurpose sensor integration

Why smartthings multipurpose sensor can sense only door-window open or not?
It is not sensing vibration or temperature changes.

The packet I got from the sensor for open and close is added below.

Open case:

Is there any separate configuration needed for vibration ?

Is this with the ZigBee binding? Can you provide a binding log please as per the binding documentation?

Also, you don’t mention exactly what the device is - can you please explicitly state this since there are a number of SmartThings sensors out there.

I would also like to know how to get motion information from the sensor. I have several of these successfully connected using the Nortek HUSBZB-1 Z-Wave/ZigBee USB adapter. However there are only channels for contact closure, temperature, and battery. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Sensor Details
Samsung SmartThings Multipurpose Sensor (2015 model)
Model: F-SS-MULT-001
CentraLite (OEM): 3321-S

Ditto - the 3321-S sensors (Smarthings Multipurpose sensors) can do acceleration etc… but there’s no channel on the ZigBee binding.

There have been changes, perhaps you could provide the binding version number is use?

If recent, no-one has yet provided the log requested.

Its 2.5.7 on the ZigBee binding, and the sensor is a ‘Smartsense Multi Sensor’, from Smartthings. Shows up as a ‘CentraLite 3321-S’ in OH2 and is often just referred to as the ST Multi-Sensor. Its nominally a contact sensor, but also has an accelerometer and temperature etc… Its OEM’d by Smartthings, but also available from CentraLite as well. Its quite a well-known device as Smartthings has 45 million monthly active users and its given away with the hub. Would be good to get this working.

The requested log is still awaited.

I’m happy to implement this if someone wants to send me one - or if a few people want to donate a few $£€ so I can purchase one. This is by far the best approach - we did this recently for the Ikea binds and it’s a LOT easier for everyone than trying to provide logs. This is especially true for battery devices which can be difficult to get the correct logging.

I had no luck pairing this sensor with my hue bridge. Does anyone know if it is possible?

You can’t pair with Hue, it uses a different zigbee protocol.

See https://github.com/openhab/org.openhab.binding.zigbee/issues/562. It’s probably the same or similar issue. The sensor device uses a manufacturer specific cluster.
