Zooz Zen75 Not in List of supported things

I bought a Zen75 and it is not in the list of supported things. I’m running 4.3.5. Is there a way to get it working? Device adds with no channels.
Device discovery could not resolve to a thingType! 027A:7000:A005::1.10
It is on the zwave alliance page: Z-Wave version: 7.19.2

Check this out. You will need to add to the ZW DB (option 4a). Guidance for “unknown” Zwave Device - Tutorials & Examples / Solutions - openHAB Community

Thanks, this helped. It is not in the opensmarthouse.org database. Once I get it added there, how long does it take to make its way to openhab?

There are two options after the device is in the ZW DB. 1) You can wait (time depends on the developers schedule 7-30 days). Also, note this will be a 5.0 snapshot, not a 4.3.x patch release or 2) Use the method on the above link (4b iii) to add to your current ZW binding.

Also to register and get write access, use this information

Bob,
You seem to be up to date on opensmarthouse.org. I have been unable to create an account there. Website just says “File not found.” when I try to register. I emailed them about the registration and the missing Zooz Zen75 device and haven’t heard back. Do you know what the current status is?

Thanks,
Cav

The developer seems pretty busy with his regular job. I know he tries to keep up with the tickets, I think he might be travelling international.

Anyway you can register after reviewing the information link on my July 1 posting, and then open the ticket for write access. (It is not going to happen unless you do it). The XML OH generated for you locally and the manual are needed to complete the entry.

Sorry - yes, I’m travelling almost continuously between New Zealand, the UK and New York at the moment.

If you haven’t been able to register, then you won’t have been able to open a ticket I think, so I’m not sure how you have tried to contact me.

The registration form got moved off the regular link due to a lot of attacks. I on a plane at the moment so can’t easily check but there is a thread on the forum somewhere that does link to it. If you can’t find it let me know and I’ll try and take a look when I get home.

I created a ticket at opensmarthouse.org. The blog wanted me to add a device from the device page, but I didn’t see that option.

That option only appears with write access. You should an email from Chris when he approves that.

If you are done entering the device (and it looks good to me), mark for review on the overview tab, otherwise it won’t get added.

I was trying to add parameters. Options under parameters might not be saving. I submitted for review.

Didn’t mean to rush you, but folks often forget that and wonder why it wasn’t added to the binding.

I did look closer and it looks like there are a few more parameters/options to add. Note: You can keep editing even after asking for the review (until it gets added)

The parameter options disappear after I add them. Maybe they are there and I can’t see them

Are you saving changes (at the bottom blue button)? I added a few and it seems okay

The behavior seems to be when you create a new parameter you can’t add options until you save the parameter first. If you try to add them while creating the parameter they disappear when you save the parameter. After you save the parameter you can then add options and save them. I’m also seeing options from the previous parameter in the new parameter that I can edit, but they won’t save either.
