Total linux noob here, I just ran a brand new openhabian 1.6 on my pi4 8gb and have issues with the ZRAM failing as well. How do i check what’s going on?

This is a different issue caused by networking. Look for a thread with your problem. Use zraminstall=disable in openhabian.conf on install or uninstall ZRAM via openhabian-config menu.

Ok. The stock openhabian image would not start openhabian after a reboot. It will only start up after a reboot if i uninstalled zram via openhabian-config.

There’s on the order of 500 different SBCs, let alone all the x86 variants. Needless to say they’re all untested when we do not mention them, isn’t it.

Again: read the other threads on this topic. Use clonebranch=master with the 1.6 alpha image.
