Trying to set up a zwave smoke detector (ZS6101). Smoke detector is found correctly and has a match in the zwave database. Battery level is reported once and if I hold the test button, the alarm is raised once. However, that seems to be the end of it. Battery level is no longer reports (though this may be because the battery isn’t draining so there’s nothing to report). But pushing the test button doesn’t seem to send another message. I’m not sure it needs an actual smoke alarm either as I tried passing smoke over and although the alarm went off there were no messages received by the controller. Any ideas?
Look at the Thing in Habmin and see if it is marked as offline or dead or something. From there you can try to heal the device and see if that helps. You can also remove and readd it to the controller.
