2018-12-02 21:48:19.139 [ERROR] [io.openhabcloud.internal.CloudClient] - Socket.IO error: {}

(Zolon Farsane) #1

It appears that the cloud connector isn’t working again.

Just did a full update to the system as a means of troubleshooting, and everything local is working as expected.

The my.openhab.org status is showing all green, so I am wondering the normal…

Is it just me?

Only discovered because alexa couldn’t turn off the bedroom lights.

thanks

(Zolon Farsane) #2

Post asking, and it starts working. *laughs

Ok, no additional changes done on my side.

It did barf out a few of the following though:

2018-12-02 21:53:13.353 [WARN ] [okhttp3.OkHttpClient ] - A connection to https://myopenhab.org/ was leaked. Did you forget to close a response body?

Anyways, hope all is working for others as well.

(Jürgen Baginski) #3

As can be seen in here, no incidents have been reported today.
For me it is working as well.

(Cyril Jaquier) #4

See here also openHAB Cloud down, AGAIN

(Jürgen Baginski) #5

The reported WARN messages doesn’t correlate with Problems of myopenhab.org, it is a locale WARNING.
@zolon which Version of openHAB and of the cloud-connector are you using?

(Zolon Farsane) #6

ii openhab2 2.4.0~M7-1

It is currently running as expected, and started running properly about 30 seconds after I started the thread here.

(Zolon Farsane) #7

and yeah, I have seen the warns before with no issues. It is the socket error that I was really worried about.

(Eric Einstein) #8

I am having the same issue. I can connect fine at myopenhab.org, but Alexa and Google Assistant both choke when trying to do anything. All was working fine, and I changed nothing on my end. Here is the error in the log file. Anyone have any ideas?

(Jürgen Baginski) #9

Checked log, found the same errors several times, the reconnect came always after some seconds.
The Status Page reports problems for today as well.
Besides those short errors I did not observe any problems.

(Markus M.) #10

I had errors, too in the last days.
Mostly it works when I try it a second time.

(Eric Einstein) #11

My only fix is to restart openhab. Restarting the cloud binding doesn’t do it.

Funny, I checked the status of the server after the issues occurred today, and it was reporting all clear. I must have just missed the status update.

(Zolon Farsane) #12

When it happens to me, if I reboot my openhabian it works again. Which is annoying at 3am and I need light to even get to the room where I can reboot it.
