5 months ago, Amazon announced that they will discontinue their dash buttons. Now Amazon say that their buttons would cease to work by the end of the month:
So I guess existing buttons should be configured as soon as possible until Amazon stop providing the functionality within their app.
The current version of “Amazon Shopping” APP is 18.14.0.100. I’ve downloaded an APK file and disabled “Automatic Updates” in Google Play Store. Let’s wait and see what will happen…
EDIT: I tried out Amazon Shopping APP today (Aug 4th 2019). And I was still able to configure my DashButtons. So I decided to switch all batteries to brand new long life batteries. Hopefully it will move potential problems into far future.
