I’m using this routine to get the time since a date value, and it works well. I’ve even customized it a little, by paring down the results wording a bit. Instead of “about 5 hours ago”, I’ve got it just putting “5 hours”. However, I’m wanting to go a bit further with it, and I’m out of my element.
What I’d really like it to do is display major units, minor units. So something like “5 hours, 37 minutes” or “3 days, 12 hours”.
Before I go trying to hack at it (as I said, I’m out of my element here), I figured I’d see if there may be exactly what I’m wanting out there already, or if someone more competent in this area may be able to help.
