Blocky - remark element(?)

Hi,

maybe the answer to my question is trivial…

But is it possible to add an element with a comment (remark) in Blocky, or do I have to use some other element, e.g., LOG with text, and set it to ‘disabled’?

It would be nice if the ‘remark’ element was bright/eye-catching so that you could comment on a block, especially with a complex diagram. And even using another element such as LOG (as I suggested above), even if disabled, is not very visible among other elements.

On every block, you can add a comment (right mouse click, add comment). It will then show a ? in the block. Clicking on it reveals the comment.

Ha! Great! It works!

Thank you so much!

Just for completeness:
In the marketplace you can find @mediatech15 's library with blocks for commenting too:

You can also now add a comment by right clicking on the canvas and selecting “Add comment”. This was added in 5.1.

cool.

@jsjames : Just tried it and noticed that with chrome (at least on Android devices) you cannot exit the comment box after editing.
Could somebody please check on his device?

I just tested with chrome on an ios device and it wouldn’t let me edit ANY comments - so there seem to be issues with mobile devices and blockly.

BTW, we aren’t on the latest blockly version yet because the multi-select plugin we use does not support it yet. Hopefully, when this is available, this will help issues with mobile devices.
