I’m certain I wont be around to worry about multi-planetary issues.
But I do agree with kids being taught to think like programmers. 
More importantly I think all kids should serve their country, if only for 1 to 2 years . Learn to take orders, discipline, respect, pride, honor. Values IMHO that families now days lack. As a disabled vet and parent, I can say this with truth…somebody needs to get the belt out the closet or programming will be the least of future issues.
