Doorbird Binding: Channel Update

Hello, I am using the doorbird-binding with openHAB 3.3.0.M1.
No I experienced that the channels with pictures are not always updating automatically.
For example the item for the channel “Doorbell Montage Image” does not update with a new Doorbell-press.
When I link a new item to the existing ones the channel will update and the picture changes.

Is there something wrong with my setup? Or is there a way to trigger the update of the channel from openhab?

You can send the command “REFRESH” to the channel.
