Embed Twitter feed?

Hi,

Thecity where Ilive has a Twitter feed that has info on current road disrputions. I’d love to embed their Twitter feed into HABpanel. Twitter gives the following HTML code:

<a class="twitter-timeline" data-theme="dark" href="https://twitter.com/Turunliikenne?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">Tweets by Turunliikenne</a> <script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>

I’ve tried all they ways I can think of to get it displaying in HABpanel, but can only get the text “Tweets by Turunliikenne” to show, but not the tweets. Anybody tried something similar?

Have you chaps looked into using the RSS binding?

Looking further into RSS.app, it looks like there are filter options to reduce the clutter, but only for paid accounts.

Nah, I gave up, couldn’t figure it out. And kinda forgot about it eventually. Would still be nice though. My particular use case is that my city informs about traffic disruptions via Twitter and would be nice to see the info via HABPanel.

I took a quick stab at it on habpanel using my cities equivalent and I’ll update this thread if I make good progress on it.

I got the Feed binding installed, however I wasn’t able to get any useful info from it.
I have my desired twitter feed converted and in a normal browser window that
spits out the feed nicely. I’m hoping to be able to get that into HabPanel or BasicUI
but right now it looks bleak.
