Google assistant and openHAB

To work with google assistant and openhab:
In order to use google assistant I need to use google cloud services, and to use google cloud is it mandatory to enable the billing information?? Is there another way around it, I tried without enabling the billing and couldn’t deploy the Hello world example from github (node js for google cloud)

You don’t need node js

Also: you can integrate your own openhab cloud instance with Google but it’s very hard. You should try to use myopenhab.org
