How do I connect OH2 MAX! Binding to Homegear?

Hi all,

I want to connect OH2 MAX! binding to homegear, both running on openhabian. Homegear is set up and lists my devices.

The OH2 binding does not find homegear. How do I configure the binding to connect to homegear? How do I know the MAX! id of homegear (or is it not necessary?)?

I think I have found the solution. You must use the Homematic Binding and not the MAX! Binding, even though you want to use it with MAX! devices. Obviously, the reason for this is that Homegear acts like a Homematic CCU for OpenHAB.

In the binding, configure 127.0.0.1 as the host as well as the callback host. Leave the rest as is.
