Moving from Beta to Snapshot

Are you trying through apt-get? I just did this today and from what I noticed it didn’t want to upgrade to snapshot version, because apt-get was considering it a downgrade. FYI There are also two apt repos hosting snapshot - not nightly - builds.

How can I doublecheck if my installed OH2 comes from snapshot or beta…?

There are several ways, my way is: take a look at
/runtime/karaf/etc/branding.properties, the version is on line 9 and 10.
