Jasco zWave switch working but no channels

Im having trouble with a new zwave switch. Its been on the network for days but still not fully initialized.

I followed the openhab zwave docs and got to the answer that my device is “not in the zwave database.”
The problem is that I can find the switch in the database, and it seems to match the xml file I have from openhab. I’m not sure how to proceed.

My best guess is that this new switch has compatability issues with my fairly old zwave controller.

My zwave controller is a aeotec zstick gen5
The switch is a Jasco zw4009

wake it (check device’s docs on how) it isn’t initialized and no amount of waiting will help
are you trying to include it securely? that takes longer and isn’t really necessary for a light switch
Bob will be here by and by and check the DB entry is correct for your device

Since it’s in the database.

Maybe exclude/include, or restart OH, or factory reset device (after excluding)

The issue is that the numbers (TYPE:ID) for you device were added on Aug 13, 2023. What version of OH4 are you on? If the release version 4.0, it will be missing. Try 4.1M2
