Mercedes Me Binding

Great everything works again here, thank you so much

Same here. I am on Openhab 4.2.2. I did have to add the thing again and delete the old one, but since I could reuse the old items, it worked like a charm.

Team,

very strange thing here. I was on 4.2.0M1 with a manual jar installed (4.1.0…), and it was working like a charm.
Now I’m on 4.3.0M2, and the binding was stuck. I’ve installed the one in the store (4.3.0M2), I’ve completed the authorization with the PIN, but the binding is still stuck, and I see

“ Websocket Exception: Reason: {0}”

Any suggestion? @weymann any idea how to troubleshoot?

thanks
Andrea

I think it’s something related to

thank you. So, we need to use the marketplace version, or the other? when the new jar (now added manually) will be added?

thanks
Andrea

You need this jar.Use it from Marketplace or drop it into addons folder.

Sorry I’ve missed it … that means the version in the marketplace will be always the most updated one? just to know what to install
thanks

Andrea

Sure, openHAB releases are done each 6 months, some patch releases in between.

For such urgent problems we’ve the opportunity to place an addon in the Marketplace, pic 1. If you you click on MercedesMe you’ll see pic 2 - voila!

so you suggest to keep installed the version in the marketplace?

Not keep, reinstall. I changed the binding to this version yesterday and they are not updating automatically. So first remove and then install again.

is there any chance to include the “add-blue” level into this great binding?

According GitHub - ReneNulschDE/mbapi2020: Custom Component to integrate MercedesME devices into Home-Assistant I have to set an attribute for fuel level: “tankLevelAdBlue”
Or is it already possible I’m only too stupid to use it?
Thx in advance, O.

@weymann
I’m getting every 1 to 5 seconds a log line like this in the openHAB log.
Since this is a warning something seems to go wrong, but what do I have to do? It fills up my openHAB log very quickly.

[WARN ] [et.common.message.MessageInputStream] - MessageInputStream closed without fully consuming content WebSocketSession[websocket=JettyAnnotatedEventDriver[
