Yes, but the method is .plusMillis()

now.plusMilliseconds(1000) cannot resolved to an item or type

…while changing it to now.plusSeconds(1), it works.

No, the method requires an integer argument.

It’s really worth using VSCode editor + openHAB extension for rules editing. Not only does it validate and highlight errors like this, it autosuggests appropriate methods as you type.
