Is it just me or are all images missing from the community pages?

I had deactivated S3 uploads as they screw up our backups, but it seems that this also affected the S3 downloads at the same time, so I have reenabled it.
Does it solve the issue?

Issue is still open and can be seen here. Is there a github issue for tracking?

Doing a keep alive on this problem since I still do not see any images in the posts, I shouldn’t be the only one?

Makes reading some of the posts tricky since we have a lot of screenshots of the UI.

Understand fully that this is completely volunteer driven effort but it would be great with a fix!

FTR: I still have this on my list to look into as I didn’t find time to further investigate it in the past 2 weeks. If anyone has a good hint of what action on Discourse might help, I am all ears!

I too have can not see images on this site

Does this problem only affect me and a few others, or is it across the board?

I’m surprised how few comments there are on it.

Many of the past answers to problems are rendered almost useless. Overstatement, sorry.

I appreciate that everyone volunteers and I’m thankful for that.

I think it’s the same for everybody, it certainly affects me as well. I just don’t know how much there is to say about it except to establish that it is broken. I don’t think there’s anything you, or I, can do about it, so we’ll just have to hope that it will be fixed.

Sadly having the issue too - thought it was on my side, glad to hear it’s not - makes it really hard to look at things like Widgets if there are no screenshots :rofl:

Hello Kai,

I know you and the other developers have a lot to do and are doing everything in your spare time on a voluntary basis, but the problem with the images really needs to be addressed… :face_in_clouds:

I say this with the largest respect!

But for someone like me, who is just trying to get started with the MainUI and widgets after 6 years of sitemap, it’s a huge pain that the images are missing, especially in the Marketplace: See here

In my opinion, the Marketplace is pretty useless without being able to see what a widget looks like… :frowning:

I’m happy to offer my help!
I’m not a database administrator, but I’ve been working in IT backend for 20 years and solving exactly these kinds of problems :slight_smile:

@Tobias I am feeling with you . Do have the same problem

Actually there is a separate post : Links broken which I contributed too a while ago too. I think everybody is aware.

I am as well willing to contribute/help to fix. Not an IT professional but in case of somebody needs to scan log files or if there is some sort of manual effort to correct links let me know. I want to make it work again for me and everybody’s benefit.

Searching for solutions without having the ability to look for pictures posted is not comfortable.
