This is why it’s not updating - the changes are in the snapshot version.
Oh, can i switch to the snapshot version for the update and then back to stable?

I successfully tested a real smoke alarm with the Fibaro FGDS002 Smoke Sensor. The item linked to the smoke alarm channel will be set to ‘ON’ no matter if it’s a test alarm or a real alarm. I therefore conclude that @shorty707 and @chris did an excellent job in updating the database

can you tell me , you also updated openhab with the last snapshot or just the zwave binding.
Ypu updated the zwave binding in Paper UI or as jar file?
I updated to the latest snapshot version via openHABian. I then subsequently reinstalled the ZWave binding via PaperUI.
