I am thrilled to announce the availability of our latest traditional summer release: openHAB 4.2!
Already one year has passed since our huge openHAB 4.0 release, and we are proud to have been able to keep the high development pace of our previous releases.
openHAB 4.2 is packed with some major, exciting new features and countless improvements and bug fixes.

We have just published a first patch release with openHAB 4.2.1, which fixes some issues that you had reported with 4.2.0. As usual, you can find the detailed release notes on GitHub.
For all users that use the CometVisu add-on in openHAB: Please note that 4.2.1 fixes four security vulnerabilities in this add-on and it is highly recommended to upgrade to the this latest version. You can find the links to the advisories in the release notes as well.
Good news for all users of our stable release: We have released a second patch with openHAB 4.2.2 today! Please check out the release notes to see whether upgrading might be worthwhile for you.
