openHAB Cloud not working

Hi there,

woke up and the openHAB Cloud is not working. Noticed it when I tried to use Alexa voice command but even the openHAB App is not working.

Are there known issues ?

A lot of disconnect ping pong errors and many in the log at myopenhab.org but order seems also strange for an ping pong

If you restart the openHAB Cloud bundle on the Console it usually works again:

bundle:restart org.openhab.io.openhabcloud

no not really - even tried multiple install/uninstall and also a reboot of the whole system

Too bad. :frowning: I just had to do the same exercise and thought it worked, but now it’s down again. Maybe @digitaldan can have a look.

I’m also seeing connection problems

@ssalonen read in another thread that there are fixes server side planned for reconnect issues. Is the fix deployed and maybe is the root cause of the todays issues?

My cloud connection was also down this morning, but going to settings → openhab could and saving settings again forced a reconnect

@ssalonen did not get it why systems that worked before now are having connect issues
Everything was fine till this morning on my side.
It also tries to reconnect and shows me connected for some seconds until disconnect message shows up again - but still not working in any state.
Can you maybe explain why this is linked to the other issue or is it a new one?

but it disconnects again and does not work - just ping pong :frowning:

Earlier this morning the openHAB app gave a hostname error, but now it’s reporting that the cloud instance is online, but my server is offline. So it seems as if something changed. If I were at home I’d try restarting.

Tried again an uninstall & install and it works now - very strange…

As far as I can tell, things are working as expected. I have tried restarting the bundle, which had no effect.

Hmm, I don’t see anything wrong on the cloud side. Would be helpful to know what version of OH people are running who are having issues.

Also if you private message me the email you used to register on myopenhab i will find some time to check the logs and see if i can find anything specific

I also had an issue all day. Was showing offline, but some notifications where coming through.

Just saved the openHAB cloud settings and seems to have gone back online.

I haven’t had any issues recently. Perhaps it’s a regional problem? I’m on the west coast of Canada.

After my last message around 11am, my OH restarted by itself and cloud access was restored. The problem seems to have started around midnight.

At the moment the cloud service connect and disconnect all the time. Log say that there is an error and also myopenhab log say error. But there isn’t any more information.
