Openhabian2 crashed after upgrade

Well, I thought it was just a routine procedure…I was wrong.

On my Pi 3 with OpenHabian 2 I did a backup, then used the config tool to update (not upgrade to 3, but just update 2.x.

The update failed along the way looking for FiremotD.

Now the log shows the following, repeating every few minutes…

Error downloading mvn:org.openhab.addons.bundles/org.openhab.binding.mail/[2.5.0,2.6)

2021-06-23 19:13:30.395 [ERROR] [core.karaf.internal.FeatureInstaller] - Failed installing 'openhab-persistence-mapdb, openhab-ui-homebuilder, openhab-binding-mail, openhab-binding-network, openhab-persistence-influxdb, openhab-misc-ruleengine, openhab-ui-habpanel, openhab-binding-zwave, openhab-binding-mqtt, openhab-ui-basic, openhab-binding-ntp, openhab-binding-astro, openhab-ui-habmin, openhab-binding-expire1, openhab-ui-paper': Error:

Is it possible to restore from the backup somehow from the command line?

Apparently the zip file created by ‘sudo openhab-cli backup --full bckup-210623’ isn’t a backup that the OH config tool sees.

If a restore isn’t possible maybe my move to OH 3 just became forced…

What is the right procedure for moving the zwave usb stick from the old RPi3 to the RPi4 that I’ve already installed openhabian3 on…and have the OH remote already there as a Thing.

Add-ons are no longer downloadable from the same place online.
You can download a package for ‘local’ installation.
