Hey,
the current feature graphic in the Play Store is the openHAB icon and slogan:

As you can see, the icon nearly touches the border. This causes the icon being cut in some situation. To fix this, there should be at least 50px space between the “main elements” of the image and the border.
IMO a different background also improves the image. If someone wants to give it a try, feel free to post your image here.
This image can also be used for https://github.blog/2019-04-17-custom-open-graph-images-for-repositories/
so the image is 1024 X 500 px?
and needs to be jpg or png?
For Play Store: JPEG or 24-bit PNG (no alpha) Dimensions: 1024px by 500px
For GitHub: “Images should be at least 640×320px (1280×640px for best display).”
For later usage having the following sizes wouldn’t be too bad:
24-bit PNG (no alpha) Dimensions: 1280px by 720px
24-bit PNG (no alpha) Dimensions: 1920px by 1080px
JPEG Dimensions: 1920px by 720px
The image should only contain assets under a free license. I often use https://unsplash.com/search/photos/smart-home for free images.
Maybe one could help me with the new screenshots of the app: https://github.com/openhab/openhab-android/issues/309#issuecomment-484861689
We need to find a good title for the “Widget overview” screenshot. Suggestion: “Choose from a variety of UI elements”
For the Astro binding screenshot: “Install Add-ons to enhance your home”?
