Set metadata from .items

Hi All,

I would like to set the background of the cards. I cant find any information or manual the available metadata config for .items
for example I find “widgetOrder” but nothing else…
In .items:

Group gAnyroom “Any” (gFloor) [“Room”] {widgetOrder=“1”}

I would be grateful for any information

I’m afraid it’s not possible. While metadata config values may be objects with nested properties, the grammar used to parse .items files doesn’t support it. For those cases you would have to use the UI. (the metadata is decoupled from the item itself so you can have the item in a file and the metadata for a certain namespace in the JSONDB as long as it’s not conflicting). If I understand correctly, what I want its not possible. After I created the items, than I have to make some modification for background on the webui.

If you are talking about setting the background of the cards on the automatically generated parts of the Overview page of MainUI, it cannot be done. The only way to set the background on those cards is through the UI.
