hi,
3.4.3 dev build solved my problems with shellyplus smoke and shellyplus H&T. thanks!
what about future updates. I assume the dev build is somewhen integrated in the normal OH build. what is the procedure then to switch to the normal OH build?

are you on 3.4.2 or 4.0.0-SNAPSHOT?
If 4.0 you may need to switch to the latest SNAPSHOt

I changed the auto off to 0.2 the item was correctly update but in the shelly app remain to previous value (42.42)

Hi,
is here anyone with experience regarding the shelly plus addon?
I added a plus addon to some of my plus 2 pm roller shellys to interface with some magnetic switches for open window detection.

As far as my understanding of the documentation goes, you just need to delete and add the thing again after configuring the addon itself AND of course the Input in the shelly web interface, wich i did.
(shelly shows the Digital input correctly in the webinterface)

But i cant see a corresponding channel in Openhab.
(OH 3.4.3, lxc container, debian, everything out of the deb packages)

Am i doing anything wrong?
Does the shelly addon not work with OH, plus 2 pm in roller-mode?

can somebody give me a hint here?

I doubt that most users are not on 4.0

make sure the regular bindig included in the dist is uninstalled
install coap-transport and DEV build
go to OH console
check status of the binding with bundle:list
should be Active,if not run “bundle:stop ” followed by bundle:start
if bundle is Active, check log for details, maybe set to TRACE mode

The Plus Addon is not supported by the binding version in the official 3.4.2 dist. You have to install the DEV build. In addition you have to add the desired sensors using the device UI. After that run the discovery and you should get the additional channels.

Do you suggest to install in another computer the version 3.4.3 and try with this to avoid 4.0 bugs?

Hi, i installed the Snapshot/dev build like described in your ReadmeBeta.
(uninstallled official Plugin, removed all things (saving the name of the things), install feature via CLI, stop OH, download and copy snap in addons folder, start OH, rediscover things)

However the Shelly addons on my Shelly Plus 2 PM-Roller are still not shown. (No additional channels after readding the things)
The configured Input on the 2PM gets listed in the getConfig Web RTC Call, so at shelly side, everything should be configured correctly.

I exactly have the same issue like you. Can you please tell me how exactly you solved the issue. Where and how do you configured your NTP server? Or where you unblocked you NTP for shelly devices.

Hi Tommy,
I initially blocked NTP in my Router.
The Shellys are in a seperate VLAN and network, where everything is blocked by default (less for the shellys, but primarily for other IOT devices like humidifier,etc…)

I allowed the communication for NTP in the network and inserted an NTP server ip in the shelly web ui. After a restart of the shelly they got the correct time and everything worked.

Hi all,
I bought two Shelly1 and installed each in a changeover switch. On one switch I do not see the status in OH when I turn on the light directly on the switch, If I do it via the Shelly APP then also not.

With the second everything works as it should.

Both shellys are set up the same and have the same firmware etc.
Does anyone have any ideas?

This looks like a wrong input/switch config directly in the shelly device.
Please compare both.

i have checked those devices and everything is similar. So i have resetted the faulty one and now every things works as expected.
I think it may be some issue to the bug i found on github, where after reboot of OH no status was visible.

But since reset i did not reboot OH.

I will monitor the status and update this Post.
