Hi,

I have several shellys 2.5 as roller shutter control and since I am running a pihole dns server, I see many attempts (every 5 min) for api.shelly.cloud.

I also use the mqtt feature where the shelly says “WARNING: If you enable MQTT - actions via Cloud connection will be disabled!”

Did anyone knows why that happens?

Even though the cloud API becomes disabled, the Shellies periodically reach out to check for firmware updates.
