[SOLVED] Hue Binding: Download failure

Hi, I’m pretty new to openhab, running 2.4.1 on raspbian. While my Z-wave Binding and devices are working fine, I’m struggling with getting the Hue Binding up and running:

from karaf console log:
[ERROR] [.core.karaf.internal.FeatureInstaller] - Failed installing ‘openhab-binding-hue’: Error:
Error downloading mvn:org.eclipse.smarthome.binding/org.eclipse.smarthome.binding.hue/0.10.0.oh240

Any hints how to troubleshoot further?

Thanks
Max

A good first step is to Clear the Cache.

Then check your network. If you have a firewall see if it’s blocking anything.

Try again later, they’re might be a temporary issue on the server.

If it still doesn’t work come back and we will see what we can do to help.

Thanks, I solved it. Clearing the cache destroyed it completely. The service didn’t came up anymore. Created a backup, uninstalled openhab2, reinstalled, installed openhab2-addons and recovered the backup. Now I have everything I ever wanted - the way to get there was just a bit more complex as I imagined earlier…

Thx Rich!

Cheers,
Max
