Ssh openhab password wrong

Hey there,

I try to connect via ssh “sudo ssh openhab@localhost” to log in with the password “habopen” but it didn’t work.
Is it possible to reset the password, or does there exist another one?

thank you

Add -p 8101 to the ssh command

If you are using openHABian try openhabian

http://docs.openhab.org/installation/openhabian.html

Did you ever get it to work?
I have simular problem, allthough I have changed the password. Afterwards I cant connect :frowning:

Using hasslefree openhabian on a Rpi.

Could you try this?

openhab-cli console

And than put the new or old password.

Example:

root@raspberrypi:~# openhab-cli console
Logging in as openhab
Password:

                          __ _____ ____
  ____ ____ ___ ____ / / / / | / __ )
 / __ \/ __ \/ _ \/ __ \/ /_/ / /| | / __ |
/ /_/ / /_/ / __/ / / / __ / ___ |/ /_/ /
\____/ .___/\___/_/ /_/_/ /_/_/ |_/_____/
    /_/ 2.2.0
                               Release Build

Hit '<tab>' for a list of available commands
and '[cmd] --help' for help on a specific command.
Hit '<ctrl-d>' or type 'system:shutdown' or 'logout' to shutdown openHAB.

I cant get that far as I cant log in at all. Dont know what to do.
i´m trying to use Putty, logging in with openhabian username.

Mmm… you need a “password recovery”.

You can try this:

Already tried that. It doesn´t work.
I created a new thread to keep this simple for my situation. The thread is here:
