You should be able to do this with the ipcamera binding as I added the ability to open doors via one of the channels. It may have been an alarm channel I re-used. By using the ipcamera binding you should be able to stream the video to multiple devices as normally the cameras are limited to a single stream.
This binding is now merged into openHAB 2.5.9 and newer.
See below for more details on what each brand of camera has working as often choosing the right camera will save you from needing to purchase an extra video server (both the cost to purchase the server, plus the ongoing electricity costs) to process the video feeds.

Important Update:
The binding was merged into to the openHAB distribution today, Oct 17. It should be available in a snapshot release after build 1728, as well as the next milestone release.
