Based on the error message, it seems that your HouseAlarmOff is NOT a DateTimeItem. Try adding this line before the offending code: logInfo("XXXX", "HouseAlarmOff type: {}", HouseAlarmOff.class) Or you can just look at the item through the MainUI to check its type.
