ZWave Database Comments Section

Thanks to everyone that manages and contributes to the the fantastic zwave database at opensmarthome.org. I’m trying to figure out how I can contribute more than I have in the past. The site has a “blog” entry which describes how to use and contribute to the database titled “Z-Wave Device Database Guide”. It seems well written and makes sense to me. The one piece I can’t figure out is the idea of a “Comments” section. The beginning and end of the guide indicates that each device has a comments section for recording details on a particular device but not for discussion about a device. I can find no such section of the database, although there is a “Usage Information” field that perhaps is designed for something similar. Is this a matter of the blog entry being out of date or me not knowing the right place to look?

The database has a “Usage Information” box which is intended as a place to add information that people might find useful (or necessary!) when using the device. This is a reasonably new feature in the database, and it’s not used much (yet anyway), but the idea is to feed this into the documentation that gets generated. This way, hopefully people can find it rather than having to search through the forum, which I know can be difficult.
