Dear Community, I have been battling for some time to get my self-built nanocul working on my openhab 1.8.0 installation on a raspberry pi 2 with little success. I intend to use this to monitor the ELV FHT devices I have installed. I am able to talk to the device via a terminal program (minicom) and the nanocul responds (e.g. SHIFT V returns nanocul version number “V 1.66 nanoCUL868”). I’m trying to use a nanoCUL(433) on my Raspi2 running openHABian with OH2.2. The system was using a CUL(866) as device “ttyACM0” with no problems. Now I tried it with the nanoCUL as device “ttyUSB0” without success. I checked with minicom that the device is correct and that the nanoCUL is sending the commands. Hi, i wanted to switch from my EZControl to a more open system, so i decided to try openHAB in the newest version 2.1 release. I own different devices from FS20, HMS, Intertechno and FHT and i made the first 3 work perfectly - but for FHT i really need some help. I use two nanoCULs with newest firmware and both are working (i run openhab2 as root to get complete access to the CULs).
